Rosetta Stone has a unique way of teaching French. It uses wor and image associations along with writing exercise, speech recognition technology to improve your pronuncitaion it is a very complete package.
The only thing we didn't like about Rosetta Stone is that its a physical product so you'll have to wait around 2 days before you get it. This software costs a lot more than the rest of our recommendation however its well worth the investment.

When you first use this program the basic software will show you four images at once. You have to listen to the audio and select an image accordingly. Rosetta Stone has a great way to mix your your learning experience. You can read text then select images or you can even type in your answers.
